After almost two decades, we will be seeing a rematch between two legends in boxing. Bernard Hopkins will face again Roy Jones Jr this coming Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Bernard Hopkins lost their first fight last May of 1993. Roy Jones Jr won via Unanimous Decision on that fight. But this will be different as the two is in the different stages of their career. Hopkins is still schooling young stars, while Jones Jr just lost recently, and it was a KO loss.

On this Hopkins vs Jones II Rematch, there will be a so called KO clause, in which the one who win via KO will get the bigger purse.

Kenny Florian will return inside the Octagon to welcome the UFC debut of Takanori Gomi. This fight will happen on March 31, at Bojangles Coliseum Charlotte NC.

Kenny Florian is 7-1 is his last seven fights. His only lost came from the great BJ Penn. His last fight, he won against Clay Guida via submission.

I am currently doubting if Takanori Gomi will be able to pull this one through against Kenny Florian. There's a big difference between the Octagon and a ring. Though I am not counting him out, I would say it would be difficult for him against Kenny. He should have gotten a tune up fight to familiarize himself in the Octagon.

Have you heard that Erik Morales, the man they called 'El Terrible' will lace up his gloves again to fight against Jose Alfaro this coming Saturday?

Erik Morales really don't know the word 'quit'. Well, I guess that's why he's known as one of the greats in this sport.

Erik Morales was known by Filipinos by defeating our very own Manny Pacquiao, but lost to his rematch as well as his third encounter with the all time Filipino great. With regards to Jose Alfaro, I really do not know anything about him.

I guess we'll just have to wait for the Erik Morales vs Jose Alfaro results this coming Saturday.

Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin Results | Fight Video

The co main event of UFC 111 St. Pierre vs Hardy will be Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin. This is for the UFC Interim Heavyweight Championship. I guess the winner of this fight will face the UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

To be honest, I want Shane Carwin to win this won. I am a big Frank Mir fan FYI. But if he wins again, he will face Brock Lesnar again, and he might get dominated again. In Mir's two fights against Brock Lesnar, let's face it, he was dominated, but Brock Lesnar made a big mistake exposing his leg, in which Frank Mir capitalizes.

For this fight, it's very difficult to predict who will win the Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin fight. To my opinion, they are evenly matched up. I want Shane Carwin to win because I want to see how he would fare up against Brock Lesnar.

Pacquiao vs Clottey Results | Full Fight Video Replay

After the negotiations failed with Mayweather, our very own Manny Pacquiao quickly moved on and went on to face the former Welterweight Champion, Joshua Clottey. We all know what's the cause of the failed negotiations with Mayweather. For those who do not know, it is because of having a random blood test in which Team Pacquiao rejected. But this time, there will be no random blood testing and they will go to the traditional testing during a fight.

On March 13, 2010, Pacquiao will be going to Texas for his fight against Clottey. Clottey is a natural welterweight and a former champion. You can see the proof in his fight against Miguel Cotto, in which Cotto narrowly defeated Clottey. On the other hand, Pacquiao dominated Cotto. Does that mean Pacquiao will defeat Joshua Clottey? Of course not. Clottey still had the chance to win against Pacquiao.
